Common support

The common support system for the open jet of the LLF consists of a horizontal platform, which can rotate around the vertical axis over the full 360o and can translate in both X- and Y-direction over 4.5 m and 1.6 m, respectively.
Channels are installed to enable supply of electric or hydraulic power lines to the model.

It is called common support as it is used for various types of measurements on isolated engines, helicopters, wind turbines etc.
